Why Play This

JW Evolution 2 is the best dinosaur park sim ever made — though the bar isn't exactly sky-high. The dinosaurs are stunningly detailed, and the Chaos Theory mode lets you replay movie scenarios with a twist. Park management can feel shallow after a while, but watching a T-Rex rampage through your carefully designed park never gets old.

Building and managing your own dinosaur park is still incredibly enjoyable, especially once the chaos starts and everything inevitably breaks loose. The variety of dinosaurs, biomes, and customization options makes it easy to sink hours into perfecting your parks. Chaos Theory mode is a great addition for fans of the movies, and watching your dinos interact stays entertaining even after dozens of hours. The management systems can feel a bit repetitive later on, but if you like park builders and dinosaurs, this is an easy recommendation.
